Day 14: Otterbox Reflex Series Case

This case comes in four colors: black, black/blue, black/grey, black/pink. I received the black/pink from Otterbox, they know I love pink 🙂 Actually it is more like a magenta. Regarding the colors I wish they would add a few more for variety, possibly green, purple, and yellow.

The reflex series packed a powerful punch, a two piece slider style case which was very easy to use. I’m used to a complex design with Otterbox, where they usually include three or four pieces for installation. The reflex case takes after a car design, meaning if the phone is in a jam the case will protect it. In the two weeks I used this case, I have dropped it on numerous occasions, and the phone is still kicking. The case looks just as it did when I took it out of the packaging.

This case is $44.95, a bit pricey for my taste, being that it is a two piece.

I used an SGP screen shield with this case, and I had no problems. Being that this case has a definite lay on the table design, I would be weary of what screen protector you use. This case could bubble a screen, your discretion is advised 🙂

The only problem I had with this case would be charging the phone. I understand this case is meant to work with docking stations, but I’m not a lover of the docking systems. I am a user of external chargers, and it was not simple to plug in and go.

Overall this was a cute case, I would give it a 4/5 stars.
